Sarah is an experienced social worker and has worked as a practitioner and a manager in the government and the not-for–profit sectors in Australia and England.
In 2001, building on her background, Sarah led the development and implementation of the South Yorkshire’s Protection of Vulnerable Adult Multi-disciplinary policies and procedures.
She then chaired the Vulnerable Adults Board and established a governance program to support effective safeguarding assessment and service delivery.
Sarah is an active researcher. She has worked with research institutions in Australia to explore the incidence of abuse in the care relationship.
