Maggie Sheehan
Maggie has always lived a full life, with a career in nursing and retail and as a parent of three children.
Husband David, too, has had a busy career as a graphic artist and then a corrective services worker in New Zealand and Australia.
Sadly they have had recent experience of elder abuse. With insights from their lived experience, they are now firmly committed to raising awareness of elder abuse through media and community groups in the Fraser Coast and beyond. They are doing everything they can to advocate for more solutions and services in Australia. They will open day two of the conference to reveal just how they regained safety and peace.
