Helen is currently working at ADACAS (ACT Disability, Aged & Care Advocacy Service) managing projects and policy particularly in the area of supported decision making. With a background of more than 30 years working in health, disability, education and community fields in Australia, the UK and USA, she brings views from a range of areas.
She offers specialist clinical interest areas of brain injury, intellectual impairment, positive behaviour support and mental health and has served as an advisor on disability, health, special education and ethics advisory boards. She is particularly interested in the impact on rights in interaction with health care & in universal equitable access.
