Carolyn has worked in consumer advocacy for more than 20 years. Carolyn was co-CEO of the Consumer Action Law Centre and a director of the Victorian Legal Services Board, the Banking and Financial Services Ombudsman and the Energy and Water Ombudsman Victoria.
She is currently a director of the Financial Advisers Standards and Ethics Authority. Carolyn’s current work facilitates input by community organisations to finance industry family violence responses. In 2012 Carolyn received an Order of Australia for her contribution to the protection of consumers of financial services, as a consumer representative, advocate and manager of legal services.
