Anne Connolly is an investigative journalist with the ABC. For the past decade she has focused on the issues of aged care in Australia.
Anne initiated the ABC’s crowdsourced investigation which resulted in over 4000 families and staff submitting stories of their experience in aged care. Material from that crowdsourced investigation contributed to the two part Four Corners’ programs “Who Cares?”
Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the Royal Commission into Aged Care the day before the first of those programs went to air.
