Expert international keynote speaker announced: Bethany Brown, Human Rights Watch (USA).
We’re thrilled to announce our second international keynote speaker – all the way from New York!
Bethany Brown, a researcher in older people’s rights at US Human Rights Watch, has officially joined the NEAC 2019 line-up.
Bethany has worked on policy and advocacy for older people with HelpAge International and HelpAge USA, where she guided research and training for the United Nations. Her work has taken her to Kyrgyzstan, Chile, Haiti, and Iraqi Kurdistan. She has co-authored a book, as well as articles and chapters on human rights.
It’s a coup to secure Bethany for NEAC and we’re looking forward to having her in Brisbane in July.
